to Wavendon Canine Hydrotherapy Pool. Established in 1997, it was originally built to cater for their own dogs. Having owned and shown Bullmastiffs since 1983, they began breeding at Lodge Farm under the kennel name of Bramarley in 1995.
In 1997 one of their dogs, a brindle bitch named Fifi, developed joint problems from injuries she had sustained as a puppy and the vet advised swiming as the best form of excercise and therapy for her.
Unable to find any suitable dog swimming facilities, Bradley built his own heated indoor pool, purposefully designed for injured and disabled dogs and began swimming her.
The hydropool has been running ever since and has a large client base who regularly swim their dogs. Many have dogs with injuries or disabilities but there are also many dogs who come regularly for fun and fitness.
